Dear friends,
Welcome to our portal. We, [A]Nita and Neha Ramasastry, are the Sastry Sisters.
We had the privilege of learning Sri Vishnusahasranama from Sri. Jnanamoorthy Bhat
at Sri Krishnabrundavan [Woodland Hills, California], all for FREE! So, we thought
we would record a CD and let you learn too. We call this project 'Sri Vishnusahsaranama
for Children by Sastry Sisters'. This CD is a compilation of 7 Sanskrit
Shlokas: Ganesha Stotram, Venkatesha Stotram, Narasimhaashtakam, Krishna Ashtotharam,
Sri Vishnusahasranaman, Navagraha Stotram and Shanthi Mantram.
What are Shlokas, you ask? Well, Shlokas are advanced prayer forms that produce
positive vibrations while chanting, and while listening too!. These sounds help
us with improving concentration, attention span, neural retention and memory, when
we recite/listen to these shlokas on a regular basis. hence, a form of YOGA for
the brain. Try out......
....And don't forget.. this CD makes a nice gift on your friends' birthday!! All
the money we get out of selling this CD either goes to Sri Krishnabrundavana or
other charities.
This is our debut attempt to promote and spread our Hindu culture and heritage.
